The series is set thirty-five years in the future when humans in the Los Angeles Police Department are paired up with lifelike androids; a detective who has a dislike for robot partners is paired up with an android capable of emotion.
Mark Fisher disappeared from his home in a brilliant flash of blue light almost two years ago. His friend Seth Hampton was the last to see him alive. Now a string of grisly, violent murders leads Seth to believe that Mark is back, and something evil is inside of him.
In a not-so-distant future, human cops and androids partner up to protect and serve. I’d say “Almost Human” is an intelligent and thought-provoking series that within it’s narrative, raises lots of questions, and though there’s really no easy answers, the journey to find them is an exciting ride for those willing to undertake. I’m already anxious to see what’s gonna happen next. Here’s hoping that the show is successful for an entire season.
